About Us
In 1998 our world changed forever. All the stability and comfort we had known was ripped from under us. Our second son was diagnosed with Autism. Receiving such a difficult diagnosis was an incredibly challenging and emotional experience. We felt shock, fear, and uncertainty about the future. With education, awareness and support we learned to help support each other and to become the advocate our son needed to succeed in this world. A diagnosis does not define a person or their potential. It can be the beginning of a journey towards understanding, acceptance, and finding new ways to thrive. Autism does not have to be isolating. I am passionate about creating that space of support and understanding for our children and their families.

Welcome to Our Site
Welcome to our site. My name is Eva and I am a mother of 4 young adults. Matthew is my second born son who was diagnosed with Autism in 1998- at a time when the cases of children being diagnosed with Autism was happening at rates unseen to the professionals. As a result of this there were many unconventional interventions going on like chelation, $7000 in AIT sessions for 6 weeks and other interventions. After spending so much money on the "flavor of the month" I promised myself I would help others avoid some of these heart breaking quick fix interventions. I then learned to meet Matthew where he was and let him lead me. I also possess a license as a Certified Social Worker with a Masters in Public Administration and have being working with direct patient care and overseeing program implementation in the behaviorial health field.

Our Impact
Supporting parents of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is crucial for both the parent's well being and the children's development. Parents of children with ASD often experience increased stress, anxiety and potential mental health challenges due to the unique demands of caring for an individual with ASD. Effective support can alleviate these burdens, improve family dynamics and ultimately enhance the child's progress.
